What is Diamond Maintenance?

OAISYS Diamond Maintenance is a system-level Maintenance Agreement. It allows you to install new versions of your purchased software, and gives your reseller access to OAISYS Technical Support.

The Application Support Page says I need Diamond Maintenance through a certain date. What does that mean?

OAISYS systems have a Maintenance Date that represents the date your Diamond coverage expires. If there is an upgrade released before your Diamond Maintenance expiration date, you can download and use that upgrade (if you already have licenses for that application.)

For example, Net Phone 5.0 has a Diamond Maintenance requirement of 10/1/2005. This means that if you system has a Diamond Maintenance Date of 10/1/2005 or later, you are eligible to run Net Phone 5.0. If your Diamond Maintenance expired before 10/1/2005, you cannot install and run Net Phone 5.0.

The Application Support page says the current version does not require Diamond Maintenance. What does this mean?

Some OAISYS applications do not require Diamond Maintenance. You can download and install upgrades to these applications as long as you have licenses to run the application. While you can install and run these applications with expired Diamond Maintenance, your reseller will not be able to contact OAISYS Technical Support if you encounter problems.

Note that future versions of the application may introduce a Diamond Maintenance requirement.

How do I find out when my Diamond Maintenance expires?

You can see the Diamond Maintenance Expiration Date in Net Server. Click Help --> About to view the date. Net Phone v5.x also displays the expiration date in Help --> About.

You may also use the License Codes link on this site. Enter the OAISYS Copy Key serial number to see the Diamond Expiration Date and the current licenses on the key.

How do I extend or renew my Diamond Maintenance coverage?

Resellers may contact OAISYS Sales Engineering or the appropriate Regional Sales Manager for information on the Diamond Maintenance program.

Customers should contact their Authorized OAISYS Reseller for pricing and availability.
